Web28 okt. 2024 · I am making my first Mineral Oil cooled PC, I have done a lot of research in preparation for this task. I am not that experienced when it comes to liquid cooling, The Motobo is a micro ATX and is going to include a GTX 1070. I have been looking at this r adiator, I am thinking of getting two of these triple fan, 60mm thick rad's. Over locking is not recommended, because if the temperature is high, the oil may start boiling, and may brake the tank. Because the CPU fan can’t spinn faster under water, it may stop working.

Mineral oil is not conductive, and it also works as a coolant for the parts. They do look pretty cool, but I assume that replacing components would be a messy job. Also, you would not want to put a hard/optical drive inside the oil, as it would mess up the internals of those.
