High e string fretting out
Web15 de nov. de 2010 · The high E string isn't really off by much, but might that be a possible cause of the sound? Additionally, I'm not fretting out, from what I can tell. Web4 de jan. de 2005 · I didn't have the strings off for more than an hour, and I restrung it with the same gauge and brand (D'Addario .010s), and kept the tuning the same (Eb). While I had the strings off, I oiled the fretboard and gave the guitar a good polish. Prior to the change there was maybe a slight hint of fretting out buzz on the most extreme bends.

I know this is common with big bends on a 7.25 radius fretboard, but I can’t even get a whole step out of it. I’ve adjusted the action with the truss rod, replaced the stock bridge with a staytrem, played with the bridge height, and replaced the nut. Web15 de jul. de 2013 · First you would need to confirm the 17th is higher (and not that the 16th fret is lower) than the rest of the frets if your going to just tap it down. You can use a straight edge the length of 3 frets to try to rock back and forth on the 17th fret. If you can rock back and forth then the 17th is higher.
