WebA survivor can go four gens in with a trap on his/her head without it going splat on his mouth. It takes 2 minutes to go off after a gen is activated. Also if they’re dying or on the hook the timer stops. Same when they’re in a chase. The traps punish bad, lazy survivors who hide and don’t solve the puzzles mostly.

I've noticed while playing the pig that i have had survivors run out though the exit gates with reverse bear traps on their head and them not trigger. In both of these matches a survivor got a head trap put on AFTER the 5 gens were completed, and they got killed running around to the Jigsaw boxes. Why didn't they just leave?
